Water

See article ‘Dreaming of Blue’ as the precursor to this article.

I’ve been dreaming of the color blue (& fuschia) and then seeing the word water everywhere. Lately its not uncommon because of hurricane Harvey in south TX. But i felt the Holy Spirit was trying to say something. I looked up the symbolism for water and found a link below and a particular passage stood out to me.

It is God’s Holy Spirit that is the instrument of both the cleansing and the birth of the divine nature in us. “Water” intensifies and magnifies “Spirit” by means of the many figurative ways God’s Holy Spirit is shown working: as a means of God’s light- and life-giving Word, of spiritual power, and of cleansing.

This really stood out because one of the symbolisms of the color blue was cleansing. I looked up a scripture about cleansing and was surprised at what I found.

Ephesians 5:26

He did this to dedicate the church to God by his word, after making it clean by washing it in water

Lets look at that scripture a little more in context.

25 Husbands, love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave his life for it. 26 He did this to dedicate the church to God by his word, after making it clean by washing it in water, 27 in order to present the church to himself in all its beauty—pure and faultless, without spot or wrinkle or any other imperfection. 28 Men ought to love their wives just as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife loves himself. (29 None of us ever hate our own bodies. Instead, we feed them, and take care of them, just as Christ does the church; 30 for we are members of his body.)

God loves His church so much that He is washing away unclean spirits and idologies. He is doing something new. He wants to have a pure bride of Christ.

I went deeper into my previous article on the color fuschia. And found a scripture that matches this.

Song of Solomon 5:1

I have entered my garden, my sweetheart, my bride. I am gathering my spices and myrrh (things that smell sweet to Him); I am eating my honey and honeycomb; I am drinking my wine and milk.

The Women

Eat, lovers, and drink until you are drunk with love!

There is a lot of prayers and help relief going down to south Texas. Saw news feeds of people waiting on the side of the highway in a long line for a bus to take them to a shelter. Everyone had good spirits dispite the circumstances. Drunk with love you say? There is a lot of love for Texas and in Texas right now.
