Spa day!

I had a dream a few nights ago…

I was in a bathroom in a line waiting to use the shower. I had a lot of dirt that needed to be removed. And had been waiting for a good while for my turn. All of a sudden like 5 or 6 people cut the line and bypassed me. I was next in line. It was a small bathroom. And could only fit a few people at a time. I got mad and told them it wasnt cool and there were others in line ahead of them. They didnt care. Then someone walks in and says, “Hey they just opened the new bathroom. It’s bigger and i’m selecting the next few people to go to that one”. So I went with this other person to this new bathroom. It was BIG!!! It was like a spa!!! It could fit countless people but only a few got to go because they waited.

It was much like the image above. Everything was super white. Tons of space. I felt rested, relaxed and at peace.

I feel like this is a picture of Chirstians today. There are several people waiting in line for God to answer their prayers. And there are many Christians taking short cuts.

But God has not manteled them for that blessing. Not yet anyway. They haven’t walked in the wilderness. Or they gave up walking in the wilderness and decided to take a short cut to the front of the line. Not knowing that had they waited their blessing would be greater. They would know how to walk in the mantel that God has called them to. But instead they stopped waiting, being patient and learning how to submit to God’s will.

There is a greater picture that God has in store for those that wait. The best place to rest is in Him.

Psalms 37:7 NLT
“Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes”.
